Team Results from Okeeheelee BMX / 2011 NBL Gator Nationals
April 30th, May 1st 2011
The Gator National took place at our very own Okeeheelee BMX Track. This is one of the top tracks in nation and this race brings many top riders from around the country to also enjoy the sun and fun. The track and weather for the weekend were amazing and everyone commented on what great place this is to ride and how lucky we are. It brought in many pro's tuning up for the Olympics and we had riders from as far as South Africa. We had total of 142 motos and most main's were full gates with many top national riders getting ready for Grands, which is only months away.
Revolution had 9 riders riding for us this weekend and I would like to make a special congratulations to Kyle Boone for double perfect weekend. I would also like to congratulate Brock Jones for being on a Virtual Team and winning a nice Savings bond from NBL. Congrats to both of you.

New Revolution Team Members!
We would like to welcome three new riders to our Revolution family. They are the "Murphy Boys of BMX" (Nick, James and Tyler). James and Nick have been racing since they were 3 years old and you might say they have been a fixture at our local BMX track in WPB. Needless to say just about everyone knows them because they can be seen at any given day either building ramps and jumps, around town at local hot spots like skate, BMX tracks and free style parks. They even have a half pipe and BMX track in their back yard. Their home track is Okeeheelee BMX. Lets all give them a big welcome.

Team Results from Lexington, South Carolina - National Race
February 26th, 27th 2011
Only one family was able to make long trip (9 hours) to Lexington SC for this national race . The team manager and her son Walter traveled to Lexington, SC for a really nice weekend of racing. The weather was awesome and the track was in excellent shape. This is our second trip to this track and we always enjoy racing some new kids from up North. We had wished more team members could have made the journey with us but with all racing coming up in near future for our State season it was understandable.
Walter results were on sat 2,3,4 and a 3rd in main, on Sunday was 2,2,3 with another 3rd in Main.

New Revolution Team Members!

We would like welcome two New riders to the Revolution family. We have Brock Jones from Okeeheelee BMX and Matthew Corry from West coast. Matt can be seen in 35-40 Novice class and Brock is our new 8R. We look forward to having you both riding for us this year.

Team Results from St. Pete BMX / Florida BMX State Qualifiers 3 and 4
December 4-5, 2010
What a picture perfect day for racing. The weather was wonderful however the track conditions were a big challenge. The track has the highest start hill of any track in the country but that wasn't the only challenging part of the track. The new track is as technical as it gets. The difficult part was also conditions of track. The turns were really tight and with all the bumps and ruts I could see our riders were little disappointed with poor condition of the track. They really tried to make the track better than last time we were there but we all still feel that this track is not one our favorites. I would have to say we are all spoiled from our Okeeheelee track. Revolution riders did not let me down though. We had only 4 riders present and they did awesome job all weekend. I look forward to our next race in Miami and I am sure that weekend we will have a full team.

Team Results from Riverview BMX / Florida BMX State Qualifiers 1 and 2
November 12-14, 2010
I have to say going to our first qualifier was really a lot of fun. This was new track for many of us. We had a very small team but the weather was perfect for racing and the track was in great shape. All our riders did a great job learning to ride this track. The starting hill was on a much steeper incline than they were used to and the track was a very technical track. Not really easy to jump because some jumps were really long. I am always proud of all our riders and I enjoy seeing them adjust to all these new tracks and within short a time on the the track they appear to be comfortable. I think the weekend was big success for our team and we welcomed our newest west coast BMX family. We all will be looking forward to our next qualifier in St. Pete. See you all there.

Race news from Riverview BMX
November 12-14, 2010
I would like to welcome the Cappello family to our racing family, (Craig, Beth, Nolan and Francesca). It was nice to add a new family with not just one rider but two. They our first family from west coast and I hope they will enjoy being with team full of Okeeheelee riders. We are certainly glad to add them to our roster. We look forward to seeing you at most of our qualifiers and maybe some nationals as well.
