Walter was born and raised in New Jersey.   He moved to Florida in 3rd grade and enjoys racing up and down the East coast.  When he was only 11/2 years he owned his first pony and he showed him up until the age of 7 years old.  When he was around 6 he showed an interest in bicycles.   For his 7th birthday we happened to buy him a new bicycle at the track in NJ, which is the home of CJBMX in Howell , NJ.  Once Walter was taken in the back of the bicycle shop in Howell NJ his eyes lit up when he saw the track.  You might say it was love at first site and the end of equestrian career and the beginning of his BMX race career.  Although Walter played and plays in many sports like baseball, flag football, contact football, I think BMX racing and contact football is his favorite sports. His favorite all time Park BMX rider is his friend Scotty Cranmer from his hometown in NJ.  Walter spends endless hours training when he is NJ at the Incline Club with Scotty Cranmer at the helm.   Scotty is only 21 years and considered a friend and helps Walter whenever he sees him in NJ. Scotty won X games and is great mentor to all the kids. Once Walter moved to NJ he now is inspired by Justin Davis and during summer camp enjoys getting training tips from Justin.  Walter is looking forward to moving up this year to expert and now can't wait to be jumping and manually on his new Crupi bike all around the tracks in the East coast.
